Happy Trails
We were going up and it was coming down. A deer thankfully -- not a bear. The Trail Boss is changing a tire., also thankfully in a safe place. The weather is great, the road bumpy but OK and the scenery fabulous. The songbirds of spring are still here serenading us-although right now I only hear a crow.
The little red squirrel came right to my feet and the elk wander free. They are a lovely chocolate brown with kicking long legs.

OH NO! Did you hit the deer? Or as they say around here did the deer run into you? We had one on the road on Saturday but it was far enough away for me to stop for it. I went to my first Pink Hatter box lunch social yesterday. It was nice. We were at the heritage site so we got to tour through all the buildings we missed in November. I really liked a quilt in the school r oom with the most even stitches.
